From
unattended units for recording ride comfort through
track parameter measurement and rail inspection and
maintenance vehicles, Consillia provides complete
solutions for railway monitoring. Utilising its in-house
specialist design and manufacturing department,
Consillia produces a full range of equipment for the
measurement of a wide variety of track measurement
parameters. Data is recorded using onboard Data
Loggers or PC Based equipment for real-time display or
later post collection analysis. This enables both
civil engineers and train operators to easily identify
faults, areas of track deterioration and potentially
dangerous conditions in addition to providing data for
condition based monitoring and maintenance. All units
are designed to be easily portable, lightweight and
operational within minutes of arrival.

Electric Rail Carts / Track Trolleys
Consillia has recently launched the
latest in its range of electric track
trolleys,
the
MEC-2 motorised two man cart. Part
of the MEC family of track utility
vehicles, the MEC-2 has been developed
to utilise the front half of a
MEC-4 with a specialised area on the
back half for the transportation of
equipment. The MEC-2 and the MEC-4
can tow up to 1,000kg and 2,000Kg
respectively using the versatile
MTRL range of trailers.
In addition to the standard 1 and 2
tonne flatbed
trailers, Consillia has developed
the MTRL2 trailer for transporting small
plant, for example Brokk Breakers, and
trailers with removable sides for
transporting cable drums, spoil and
equipment. Full details on the new
trailers will be uploaded shortly.
